# Lookout

> Search remote and open jobs across dozens of boards in one place. Lookout ranks listings by fit so freelancers and job seekers find the best matches faster.

Lookout aggregates open job listings from many public boards into one ranked search. We do not host employer applications for third-party boards; users apply on the original posting. Lookout-hosted recruiter posts can be applied to in-app.

Prefer the Jobs API (with an API key) or the public RSS feed instead of scraping HTML pages.

### API authentication

Requests require a Lookout API key (`lk_live_…`) via:
`Authorization: Bearer <key>` or `X-API-Key: <key>`

Create keys at https://www.lookoutofficial.online/docs/api after signing in. Rate limit: 300 requests/minute per key.
