Privacy Policy

Lookout (“we”, “us”) helps you search open job boards in one place. This policy explains what we collect when you use https://www.lookoutofficial.online and related services.

Information we collect

• Account data — email address, display name, and optional profile details you provide (headline, location, skills, interests).
• Job activity — searches, saved jobs, applied jobs, and Ask Lookout chat messages tied to your account.
• Billing data — subscription status and related identifiers from our payment provider (Creem). We do not store full card numbers.
• Contact messages — name, email, topic, and message content when you use the contact form.
• Device & usage — basic site visit data (such as path and approximate timing) used to operate and improve the product. Recent searches may also be stored in your browser via local storage.

How we use information

• Provide search, ranking, saved/applied pipelines, and chat.
• Authenticate you and secure your account.
• Process subscriptions, invoices, and support requests.
• Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
• Send transactional messages (e.g. account or billing notices).

We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Creem (creem.io) — payment processing and subscription management. Their privacy terms also apply to checkout.
• Job boards & ATS sites — Lookout searches public listings on third-party sites. Those sites have their own policies; we do not control how employers handle applications you submit elsewhere.
• Email delivery — if configured, transactional email (e.g. invites) may be sent through a provider such as Resend.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies or similar technologies as needed for sign-in sessions and security. Your browser may store recent searches locally on your device.

Data retention

We keep account and pipeline data while your account is active. You can remove saved/applied items in the product. Contact us to request account deletion; we will delete or anonymize personal data except where we must retain records for legal, billing, or security reasons.

Your choices

• Update profile details in Profile and Settings.
• Manage or cancel billing in Settings or the Creem customer portal.
• Email atharqulimoon@gmail.com for access, correction, or deletion requests.

Children

Lookout is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of Lookout after changes means you accept the updated policy.
