Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Lookout at https://www.lookoutofficial.online, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Lookout searches open job boards and related public sources, ranks results against your query, and lets you save jobs, track applications, and use Ask Lookout chat. We do not host employer job listings as the source of truth, apply to jobs for you, or guarantee interviews or employment.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• Teams plans may allow inviting seats; the account owner is responsible for authorized users.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these Terms, or create security or legal risk.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed through Creem (creem.io). Prices and features are described on Pricing.
• Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can manage or cancel in Settings or the Creem customer portal.
• Refunds: if something went wrong with a purchase or you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge with your account email and receipt. Eligible refunds are processed through Creem.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, overload, or disrupt Lookout or connected sources beyond normal product use.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Use Lookout for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

Third-party listings

Job content comes from third-party boards and employer sites. We do not control their accuracy, availability, or hiring practices. Applying or communicating with employers happens on their sites under their terms.

Intellectual property

Lookout’s branding, interface, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you submit (such as profile text and messages). You grant us a limited license to host and process that content to operate the service.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that search results are complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lookout and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost profits damages, or for hiring outcomes. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information. By using Lookout, you also agree to that policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms or the service. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
