Cookie Policy
How Lookout uses cookies and similar technologies. Last updated October 29, 2026.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Lookout uses on https://www.lookoutofficial.online, why we use them, and the choices you have. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We may also use local storage and similar browser technologies for the same purposes described below.
Cookies we use
- Essential / authentication — keep you signed in (for example Supabase session cookies) and protect account security. These are required for the product to work when you log in.
- Preferences — remember settings such as theme (light / dark / auto) in local storage so the site looks the way you chose.
- Analytics — Google Analytics (
G-VSHTYBMTF7) helps us understand aggregate traffic and improve Lookout. Analytics cookies are used to measure visits and usage patterns, not to sell personal profiles.
How long they last
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies and local storage remain until they expire, you clear them, or you sign out / reset preferences. Analytics retention follows Google’s settings for our property.
Your choices
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and account features.
- You can use Google’s analytics opt-out tools or browser controls to limit analytics measurement.
- Clearing site data removes local preferences such as theme until you set them again.
Third parties
Payment checkout is handled by Creem on their domain. Authentication may involve Supabase and optional OAuth providers. Those services set their own cookies under their policies when you use them.
Updates
We may update this policy when our practices or tools change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
